Explain the precautions of stainless steel sheet surface protective film

(1) Since the protective film is a chemical product, it is easy to deteriorate and oxidize when exposed to high temperature and light for a long time. It should be used as soon as possible within the warranty period, generally three months.

(2) When the water between the protective film and the steel plate substrate is immersed, the corrosion rate is faster than that without the protective film. When stored in the warehouse, it should be placed in a clean, dry and well-ventilated place, kept in the original packaging, and protected from direct sunlight. The protective film should be checked regularly. If the protective film deteriorates, it should be replaced immediately. If the packing material is wet when the liner is added, the liner should be removed immediately to prevent surface corrosion.

(3) Stainless steel sheet construction and construction precautions:

① In order to prevent scratches and pollutants from adhering during construction, stainless steel construction is carried out under the condition of protective film. But over time, the residue of the adhesive liquid should be cleaned according to the service life of the protective film. After construction, when removing the protective film, the surface should be cleaned and special stainless steel tools should be used. For example, when using general steel cleaning tools, cleaning should be done to prevent iron filings from sticking.

② It should be noted that highly corrosive cleaning agents should not touch the stainless steel surface. In case of contact, wash immediately. After construction, rinse the cement/fly ash on the surface with neutral detergent and clean water.

③ When installing stainless steel doors and windows, if the cement around the doors and windows is dry and damp, it cannot be installed. The water on the wall needs to be wiped dry before installation.
