How to make the pattern on the stainless steel plate

by:Topson     2022-04-15

We often see the pattern of stainless steel plate, so how does the pattern on the surface of stainless steel come from? Here are some commonly used methods to give you a preliminary understanding of the formation of stainless steel checkered plates.

1. Hand-carved. Diamond blades are used to engrave various patterns, with poor precision, high labor intensity and low efficiency. Hand engraving is suitable for less precise embossed surface decoration.

2. Mechanical milling. Use mechanical equipment such as engraving machines and copying machines to operate rotary tools for milling. This method can only be engraved on flat plates, which is convenient for deep milling, which is how stainless steel hollow plates are processed.

3. Sandblasting. Use compressed air to spray high-speed emery on the surface of the workpiece blocked by the template to form a sand mold. The surface produced by sandblasting is rough, and it is difficult to spray fine patterns, and the depth generally does not exceed 0.08mm

4, imprint. The pattern is formed by the plastic deformation of localized material under the pressure of a die, die or roller. Pressure processing has stamping method, static pressing method or rolling method. Internal stress is generated after embossing, and the stress and deformation can be reduced by the above method. The embossing depth can generally reach 0.05-0.20mm, which becomes a permanent stress mark. The stainless steel embossed plate is processed by this process.

5. Electrochemical corrosion. In a suitable electrochemical corrosion solution, the surface of the workpiece covered with the pattern anti-corrosion film is corroded with an auxiliary electrode to obtain the corroded pattern. The etching speed is fast, the pattern is deep, and special equipment is required.

6. Chemical corrosion. Through various printing processes or photoengraving, a patterned anti-corrosion film is formed on the surface of the workpiece and etched in an appropriate etching solution. High-precision graphics can be obtained after the film is removed. Suitable for mass production. The corrosion depth of stainless steel plate can reach 0.02~0.5mm

With technology speeding up in lighting speed, have created quite a name for itself amidst architectural metal fabrication and it happens to have a lot of benefits as well.
Foshan Topson Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. will make a healthy profit for its owners and provide a rewarding work environment for its employees.
Along the way, Foshan Topson Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. will face a wide range of challenges. The most successful will show our resolve by working through the challenges and finding ways to improve and grow.
But we do think that reckoning with supply chains of architectural metalwork is a really important step. Even super simple switches in material, or sourcing, or shipping, or worker benefits seems like good place to start.
